What we do
We use AI where it makes something faster, smarter or genuinely better, and plain code where that does the job. On Visit Dundee, DeeDee, the AI concierge, helps people plan a day around the weather, their time and their budget, but it is never the source of truth: times, prices and opening hours come from the platform’s own data, and DeeDee’s job is to turn them into useful advice. That’s what stops it making things up.
Visit Dundee went from its first commit on 30 June 2026 to more than 2,000 in three months: editorial, a business directory, live events, two bus operators’ timetables and Stripe subscriptions for businesses. Its first rule is “we will never sacrifice the architecture for a quick win”, and the architecture is written down in 55 documents, because a platform is only as fast to change as its rules are clear.
When no scheduler on the market did what our clients needed, we built our own publishing platform. It plans and publishes to Facebook and Instagram, won’t publish anything a person hasn’t approved, and adds a compliance check for regulated clients. It looks after the artwork too: in one client’s library of 1,285 images it found 181 duplicates hiding under different names.
When we added IndexNow to 47 sites, we didn’t write 47 versions: we built it once, and it tells Bing about exactly the pages that changed, and nothing else. And when we audited 100 Dundee websites, our own checks caught three of our first figures being wrong before we published them. Tools should prove themselves, not just run.
